Data Handling
PixelEditor processes images directly in your browser. When you select an image, it is decoded into your device's memory, transformed according to your rotation or flip settings, and encoded into the output format you choose. The image is not uploaded to a PixelEditor image-processing server for rotation or flipping. PixelEditor does not intentionally store your selected image in a database, cloud storage, or server-side processing queue. The image remains available to the page only while you are using the tool. PixelEditor does not intentionally write the selected image to local storage or persistent browser storage. When you load another image or close the page, the image data held by the page can be released. The rotate and flip tool does not use cookies or analytics to track your image-processing activity. The image itself is not included in the network request used to load or operate the tool. Like any website, the server delivering PixelEditor may receive normal technical information associated with a web request, such as your IP address, timestamp, browser information, and requested page. The transformed image is generated locally in your browser and becomes available for download when you choose to save it. PixelEditor does not need access to the resulting file after it has been generated. The output does not preserve the original image's metadata, including EXIF, GPS, orientation, and colour profile information. PixelEditor therefore uses browser-based image processing to avoid sending your image to a processing server, while making no claim that the website itself collects zero technical data.
