Data Handling
PixelEditor reads and measures images directly in your browser. The selected files are decoded locally so the tool can determine their dimensions, format, aspect ratio, megapixels, orientation, transparency information, and calculated print size. The images are not uploaded to a PixelEditor image-processing server for measurement. PixelEditor does not intentionally store your selected images, measurements, or file information in a database, cloud storage, or server-side processing queue. The checker is read-only. It does not re-encode, modify, or generate an output copy of your images. The files remain available to the page only while you are using the checker, and the measurement list exists in the page's memory. PixelEditor does not intentionally write the selected images or measurement results to local storage or persistent browser storage. Reloading or closing the page clears the current list. The checker does not use cookies or analytics to track your image-processing activity. The image data itself is not included in the network requests used to load or operate the tool. Like any website, the server delivering PixelEditor may receive normal technical information associated with a web request, such as your IP address, timestamp, browser information, and requested page. The checker does not inspect EXIF, GPS, camera settings, or other detailed metadata. Those details are handled by the EXIF remover tool. PixelEditor uses browser-based image inspection so that measuring an image does not require sending the file to a processing server, while making no claim that the website itself collects zero technical data.
