PixelEditor
Convert a mixed folder into one format, right in your browser.
About
Convert up to 50 mixed-format images into JPG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF directly in your browser without uploading them to a processing server. PixelEditor verifies browser support for WebP and AVIF before offering them, applies one shared quality setting across the batch, preserves transparency where the target format supports it, and shows real before-and-after file sizes for every image. Convert an entire folder at once, download individual results, or get everything in a ZIP. Free to use, with no account or watermark required.
Data Handling
PixelEditor processes batch image conversions directly in your browser. When you select your files, each image is decoded into your device's memory, converted to the selected output format, and added to the results without being sent to an image-processing server. The selected images are not uploaded, stored in a database, or placed in a server-side processing queue. Files are converted one at a time to limit memory usage, and the completed ZIP is assembled directly in your browser. The conversion queue exists only while the page is open and is gone when you reload or close the page. PixelEditor does not intentionally write your selected images to local storage, persistent browser storage, caches, or cookies. The page also does not use cookies or analytics to track your image-processing activity. The image files themselves are not included in the network requests used to load or operate the converter. However, like any website, the host serving PixelEditor may receive normal technical information associated with a web request, such as your IP address, timestamp, browser information, and requested page. Metadata is not carried into the converted files. Output images are newly encoded files without the original EXIF, GPS, or colour-profile information. Animated GIF and WebP files are treated as still images and converted using their first frame. PixelEditor uses browser-based processing so your images do not need to be sent to a processing server, while making no claim that the website itself collects zero technical data.
